If you're tired of spending big bucks on Fender and Gibson to only be disappointed, you should have a look at this Musicman. A great modern guitar with nice feel and tone. Build quality that's above what you usually see in this price range. Made in the USA. Musicman was started by Leo Fender and continues his innovative spirit. Nice specs. The Axis model was originally the Eddie Van Halen signature guitar. It features many of his innovations and specs. The body is basswood with a quilted maple top and cream body binding. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 10 inch radius Maple fingerboard with 22 frets. The neck is nicely figured and features grain you usually see only on high end Custom Shop instruments. Dual Dimarzio HH-2 Custom humbuckers dish out big tone. A Musicman branded Floyd Rose trem and pearl button Schaller tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is a gorgeous Translucent Gold that really accentuates the wood. A really nice guitar with excellent feel and tone.
This Ernie Ball is a great instrument. The neck is comfortable, the frets are good and the action is low. The pickups deliver big tone and sound great. Everything works as it should. A nice guitar. Condition wise, this Ernie Ball has been seldom used. It shows very light pick and clearcoat surface swirling with nothing else to report in the way of dings/scratches. Comes in the original G&G black Tolex hardshell case with paperwork.
This is a great guitar for both Eddie fans as well as anyone that wants a quality high performance instrument. Excellent quality and tone for the money. A new one would have set you back £1855 at the superstores back then.
