Here's a great American Standard Start in an awesome color. Made in the USA with good materials and attention to detail. The body is alder for good tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius Rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. A trio of American Standard single coils dish out big tone. A 2 point trem offers smooth whammy action while a set of sealed tuners keep it solid. This example sports a traditional gloss black finish. An E9 serial number and a 1989 build date stamped by Hector Montes. A cool guitar from one of Fender's more interesting eras. A great Strat that's ready for the player!
This is a nice playing and sounding Strat. The neck is straight and the action is good. The pickups sound great and everything works as it should. Condition wise, this one is a solid guitar for a Collector or player. In overall Mint condition. the neck shows no finish checking (which is hard to come by these days). The finish is cosmetically very clean with just a hint of polish swirling. Comes in the original Fender molded case with case candy.
