Hello Mary Lou! The Fender James Burton Telecaster is a great tribute to the master of chicken pickin'! Made in the USA to the highest standards, this is a great guitar if you're looking for versatility. The body is basswood for defined tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a maple fingerboard with 21 frets. A trio of Lace Sensor pickups deliver great tone. A string through bridge and pearl button tuners seal the deal. The finish is a unique red flame paisley pattern, a great tribute to the 68 Paisley Tele Burton used in his Elvis years. A great and hard to find guitar that will excel at many genres of music.

This Tele plays and sounds great. The neck is straight, the frets are Full and the action is low. The Lace Sensor pickups deliver great Fender tone but with low noise. They are clear yet high output and work great clean, dirty or with effects. Lots of Tele like tones as well as Strat flavors here. This is yet another pristine guitar from a private collector. Consequently this guitar has seen virtually no playtime. a true under the bed Piece. Comes in a Fender hard-shell case.
