A recreation of a classic! Fender's American Vintage series brings back classic vintage instruments at non vintage prices. Nice attention to detail and excellent workmanship. This one is no exception. The body is alder for killer vintage tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 7.25 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 vintage style frets. A trio of American Vintage Reissue single coils deliver classic Strat tone. Set up with the original 3 way switch. Fender's classic trem and Kluson style tuners round out the package. The finish is classic Olympic White and is set off with mint plastic. A great looking and sounding Strat!
This Strat has good vintage tone and feel. The neck is comfy. The pickups dish out big blues tone. Condition wise she has a few paint nicks, typically seen as these had a very thin finish and were designed to age naturally. Judging by the frets the guitar has not been played that much despite the nicks shes surprisingly clean. Comes in original hardshell case and a pile of case candy.
A 60s Strat is a classic instrument. Unfortunately, a vintage Strat may require refinancing your house. These reissues capture the vibe at an affordable price.
