FENDER USA Custom Shop Special NAMM 55' Tele Journeyman Relic "Vintage Blonde +

£2,699.99Price

This may seem like alot to take in. But, alot of potential buyers seem to just prefer the vibe of an aged Tele as a more traditional work horse – So let me introduce you to this Fender Custom Shop 55 Relic Tele with a dirty Vintage Blonde finish and highly spec’d. Made for the NAMM show. Because all the press in the world are looking, the NAMM guitars are the very best that the Custom Shop turns out.

Lightweight ash body with a tinted "riff sawn" maple neck sporting a '54 Telecaster back shape and 9.5" radius. The fingerboard is maple with 21 medium frets, leading to vintage tuners. Two Josephina handwound '55 Tele pickups with modern wiring and Greasebucket tone circuit deliver true Tele tone. Single ply white pickguard, bone nut and tweed case with COA. Modelled on a '55 Tele' so it has the great '54 U neck (not as fat as the Baseball neck) that feels great in your left hand, 100% as it left the Custom Shop.

As with most of today’s Custom Shop Fender Guitars, it retains the classic vibe of a good old ‘un, yet a few select modern features enhance the guitars playing performance. Consequenlty, This Tele plays and sounds great. The big frets make for easy bending. The neck is straight and the action is good. The pickups sound awesome and everything works as it should. 7.2 pounds according to my scale. This one was bought new recently and Purchased by us. It's seen very little playtime for a relic. As nice or nicer as many hanging as new in stores.
