This is a very cool USA G&L and a great example of why the ASAT Special has such a loyal following. It keeps the familiar single-cut bolt-on formula, but the jumbo MFD pickups give it a much bigger, punchier and more open voice than many people expect. That seems to tie in perfectly with your comments too, because a good ASAT Special really does have loads of punch and clarity, and the string-to-string balance on these can be superb. I also think the slim Modern Classic neck is a big plus here. On paper these are already very player-friendly guitars, and when you add a genuinely easy, fast neck with low clean action, it makes them very hard to put down. Fullerton Red works brilliantly on this model as well, giving it a classy but still slightly unusual look. A very usable USA G&L with loads of character and a seriously strong pickup set.

Excellent condition. There are light signs of use as expected, but overall it presents very cleanly. Lovely slim “C” neck which feels very friendly and fast to play. The action is excellent — low and comfortable, with no fret buzz.
