GIBSON USA Custom Shop ES-345 VOS *64 Reissue "Sea Foam Green + Rosewood" (2016)

The Gibson Memphis 1964 ES-345 VOS Electric Guitar is the next best thing to hopping in a time machine and going back 50 years to get your mitts on one of these original bad boys. Handmade from the ground up in Gibson's Custom Shop in Memphis, this recreation brings together era-correct appointments like a classic '64 profile neck with rolled binding, PAF-style MHS humbuckers, and even a VOS Varitone switch. Limited run for Gibson which approached the two year mark from the start of 2016. I have admittedly had my eyes on a few of these but have been patient in my approach as i was waiting for either a frost blue or Seafoam green. The unusual colour option paired with the limited release will make these a solid investment for the future. I think they also brought out a alpine white and a rather rare Olive drab with a bigsby.

Condition Report: What an absolute head turner we have here. Condition of this guitar is incredible, no dings or dents and no fret wear. Perhaps the odd pick/polish swirl in birght light upon close scrutiny. The headstock perfectly preserved, the neck is straight and the finish is dreamy. A very small yellow patch on the back of the body (probably from the stand) about the size of a penny. Otherwise I would of awarded this guitar MINT, therefore this ES-345 is awarded excellent condition. Please refer to pictures.
