Gibson’s Les Paul Standard is a legend. Here's a nice example with all the best specs and a gorgeous top! Good specs equal awesome tone. The mahogany body adds warmth while the carved, figured maple top adds brightness and beauty. The top on this example is nicely figured. The 1 piece mahogany neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. Burstbucker Pro pickups dish out classic tone with increased bite and midrange. A Stopbar tailpiece, Tuneomatic bridge and Kluson style tuners round out the package. This example is finished in gorgeous Wine Red lacquer. A really great looking guitar. Accept no substitutes, own a real Les Paul!
This Les Paul has nice tone and good feel. The pickups sound great and the neck is easy to play. The neck shape feels to be a medium taper neck. Bigger than most 60s necks I've seen but not huge. A nice playing and sounding example. This is a solid Les Paul. The overall condition is that of a fairly clean guitar. Close scrutiny will reveal some minor surface pick swirling, any other signs of use are on the extremely light side. Any hint of fret wear is again minimal.
Comes in a Gibson hardshell case with case candy.
