GIBSON USA Les Paul Standard "Wine Red + Rosewood" (2011)

Gibson’s Les Paul Standard is a legend. A classic combo of looks, tone and quality. Gibson's 2000s Standard are regarded by many to be among some of the best. The mahogany body adds warmth while the carved, figured maple top adds brightness and beauty. The 1 piece mahogany neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. Burstbucker Pro pickups dish out classic tone with increased bite and midrange. A Stopbar tailpiece, Tuneomatic bridge and upgraded Grover locking tuners round out the package. This example is finished in gorgeous Wine Red lacquer. Very cool looking and it really accentuates the flame maple top. A really great looking guitar.

This Les Paul has nice tone and good feel. The pickups sound great and the neck is easy to play. Feels to be a 60s neck. The neck is straight and the frets are full. A nice example. For a guitar that is now 8 years old I can report that this LP has not been played much – If it has been played, then it has certainly been well cared for, so that beautiful finish looks in fine fettle when you give it a more detailed appraisal. Look on the nitro gloss finish to the top of the guitar and you’ll find virtually no signs of use – Look on the rear and you’ll find no nicks, dings or dints, so certainly no negative issues to report. Barely no sign of wear to the nickle plated bridge or tailpiece. Mint condition. Comes in the original Gibson hardshell case with all the Case Candy

This is a gorgeous guitar with a killer top. Here's a nice one in a cool color for less.
