GIBSON USA LTD Firebird X "Gibson's Most Hated Guitar" "Redolution + Rosewood"

GIBSON USA LTD Firebird X "Gibson's Most Hated Guitar" "Redolution + Rosewood"

Collector's edition of this Limited Edition Gibson FirebirdX Red-volution. Includes all original gear/accessories. Everything maintained in pristine condition. These were Controverionally destroyed in 2019 at the Gibson plant. This is one of the last remaining axes, and is sure to be a collectors guitar in years to come.

The act of smashing the Gibson Firebird X series guitars has stirred controversy throughout the world, particularly with the people who wanted such a guitar and could never afford one, and those who are environmentally concerned. How many times over the course of thirty years had Slash smashed his Les Pauls? I’d love to see those tally marks. Nevertheless check out Youtube if you would like to see the footage. Some great reviews to be found by "Troglys guitars" also.

If you’re one of those cynics that had an adverse reaction to the Firebird X when it was first announced, there’s probably little that will get you to change your mind. And if you’re perfectly happy with your guitar and effects setup and don’t mind lugging around multiple instruments to gigs and sessions, you might not have any use for it—in fact, if you’ve mastered your setup, you’d probably be better off sticking with it. However, if you actually tried the Firebird X out and really put in the time to get into its features and sounds (rather than reading about it on forums), you’d find that in addition to just offering great conventional guitar sounds, the guitar’s versatility can exponentially increase your sonic palette and inspire you to go to new places musically. It certainly did for me.

I've always loved the feel of a Firebird and this one is no exception. Good feeling neck with nice action. The pickups sound great. Lots of tones. This is a solid guitar in immaculate condition. In fact, it looks like it left the factory yesterday - Absolutely immaculate. Consequently, their are no marks to speak off. All in all, a good looking example. Comes in original case with all the case candy.

I love unique guitars so the Firebird has always gotten good marks from me. Cool looks and even cooler tone. Firebirds are bringing big bucks. I've always felt Fire-birds have been one of the best bargains out there.
