Personal Thoughts:
This is one of the most authentic-looking ’56 style Custom Shop builds you’ll see. The ash grain under the Two Tone Burst looks genuinely period-correct, and the relic work has that subtle dryness and natural-looking wear that mirrors original mid-’50s Strat finishes — rather than an overdone modern relic.
The ’56 platform with ash + maple always gives that bright, airy top end with a tight low-end response. This one feels alive and very vintage in the hand — light, resonant, and extremely responsive. It’s the closest-looking ’56-style Custom Shop Strat we’ve had through here to an actual original.
