Personal Thoughts:
A double-bound early ’60s Tele in Three Tone Burst just looks right.
This is the classic “Custom” Telecaster spec — bound body, rosewood board, alder construction — but executed as a Limited Heavy Relic. The ageing is bold and convincing without being overdone.
The large C carve gives it real substance in the hand. At .875" on the first fret it feels authoritative but not baseball-bat territory. Combined with the 9.5" radius and 6105 narrow tall frets, it strikes that modern-meets-vintage sweet spot.
Hand-wound ’58 pickups keep it authentic — clear, open neck tones and that unmistakable Tele bridge bite. The Fat 50’s wiring gives you a slightly fuller voice compared to the standard vintage circuit, making it more versatile for modern players.
The double binding against the burst is what really sets this off. It has that early ’60s sophistication while still retaining pure Tele attitude.
A serious Custom Shop piece that blends vintage correctness with practical playability.
