Personal Thoughts:
This is a great example of how vintage Fender value isn’t always about 100% originality — it’s about the right parts being right. While this Strat has had a white refinish and some replaced components, the heart of the guitar is absolutely where it matters most.
The original grey bottom staggered pole pickups are the real headline here. These were phased out later in 1974 and are highly regarded for their clear, open top end and woody midrange — very different to the hotter, later ’70s variants. They give this Strat a far more classic voice than many mid-’70s examples.
The neck and body are original, the tremolo is original, and the guitar has that unmistakable dry, resonant feel you only get from a genuine CBS-era Fender that’s been played and lived with. Sonically, it absolutely delivers — classic Strat chime, sparkle, and bite with plenty of dynamic response.

Condition Report:
Very good overall condition. The Olympic White finish is a refinish. Plastics and tuners have been replaced, and the wiring harness is a high-quality repro late ’60s / early ’70s style. Neck, body, tremolo and pickups are original. Honest wear throughout, consistent with age and use.
