This 1992 Gibson Electro Acoustic Starburst Standard is, without a doubt, one of the rarest and most cherished guitars in our collection—and it’s a personal favorite. The Amber finish is absolutely stunning, bringing out the beautiful grain of the solid spruce top in a way that few guitars can match. The warmth and depth that the maplebody and rosewood fretboard bring to its tone are exceptional, and they complement the crystal-clear projection from the Fishman Matrix under-saddle piezo pickup perfectly.
What truly sets this guitar apart is how it merges vintage charm with modern playability. The slim-taper neck profile is incredibly comfortable, making those longer playing sessions feel effortless. Condition Report:
This 1992 Gibson Electro Acoustic Starburst Standard is in excellent condition. The Amber finish has aged beautifully, showing only a few minor surface swirl marks, but nothing that takes away from its overall appeal. The fretboard and frets show minimal wear, and the electronics work flawlessly, delivering clear and natural amplification. There is a small amount of checking on the bottom of the neck at the back, but for a guitar of this rarity, it’s been exceptionally well cared for. It comes complete with its original Gibson hardshell case and is ready to continue its journey with its next lucky owner.
