There’s something very special and very human about Eternal builds — they always feel like guitars built by an actual player, not an assembly line.This one has a brilliant provenance too — built by Matt Warwick himself (who worked at Eternal) as his personal piece. It genuinely has that “built for self” feel — the neck carve is comfortable, the setup and fretwork feel dialled-in, and the pickup is gloriously raw, snarly and vocal in that classic Junior manner.
The aged sunburst is beautifully done — not overdone, more of that lightly seasoned, lived-in look. And the handwound Hot Rod P-90 is exactly what you want in this style — lots of punch, bite, attitude and harmonic content.
This is a proper boutique UK single-P-90 DC Junior — personality, soul, and character in spades.
