This is an absolutely stunning Original Series Horizon and the Pink Graduation finish is the obvious centrepiece. The figured maple top moves through deep purple, red and amber tones across the body, with the colour shift really exaggerating the figuring. Paired with the ebony fingerboard, gold hardware and matching high-end appointments, it has a very distinctive Custom Shop feel.

The fixed-bridge Horizon format gives it a slightly different personality from ESP’s Floyd-equipped builds. The neck-through construction, ebony board and Tune-O-Matic setup should provide a very direct, solid response with excellent sustain and tuning stability, while the active EMG setup keeps the guitar focused and powerful under gain.

It is one of those ESPs that balances an extremely modern performance specification with a much more luxurious visual presentation. A particularly striking Japanese-built Horizon with serious stage presence and the level of workmanship expected from the Original Series.
