This is a superb modern Telecaster and the Texas Tea finish works especially well on the Ultra II platform. The very dark metallic finish has loads of depth in person, while the ebony fingerboard and black pickguard give the guitar a much sleeker, more contemporary look than a traditional vintage-spec Tele.

The Ultra II is designed to retain the snap and directness of a classic Tele while making the playing experience noticeably more refined. The Modern D neck, compound-radius ebony board and medium-jumbo frets give it a fast, comfortable feel, while the locking tuners and modern bridge hardware make it exceptionally practical as an everyday professional instrument.

The noiseless Tele pickups keep the familiar bite and clarity of the format while reducing unwanted hum, and the S-1 switching broadens the available sounds without cluttering the traditional control layout.
