This is a beautifully finished ES-345 and a really strong alternative to the more familiar ES-335. The Vintage Sunburst finish suits the figured body perfectly, while the split parallelogram inlays and upgraded binding give it a noticeably more luxurious appearance without losing the classic Gibson semi-hollow character.

The construction is equally strong. The maple centre block and quarter-sawn Adirondack spruce bracing give the guitar plenty of focus and stability while retaining the openness and resonance that make the ES platform so versatile. The Rounded C neck should feel comfortable and substantial without becoming oversized, while the rosewood board and medium-jumbo frets keep the playing feel familiar.

The Calibrated T-Type humbuckers are a great fit for this model, offering a clear, balanced and articulate voice with plenty of vintage character. Combined with the hand-wired controls and Orange Drop capacitors, the guitar should cover everything from warm jazz and blues through to classic rock with ease. A very classy modern ES-345 with excellent spec and understated collector appeal.

Excellent condition. Presents extremely cleanly overall, with just one very small blemish on the rear of the body that is difficult to see unless closely inspecting the surface under reflected light. Otherwise, the guitar is exceptionally clean with minimal signs of use.
