This is a really classy Silver Sky and one of the nicest colour combinations on the model. Polar Blue with a maple fingerboard gives it a cleaner, brighter look than the more traditional rosewood-board examples, while still keeping all the vintage-inspired character that makes the Silver Sky so appealing.

The 635JM pickups are a major part of the model’s success, delivering that clear, rounded and highly expressive single-coil voice with plenty of detail in the neck and middle positions and enough bite at the bridge to remain useful with gain. The 7.25" radius and 635JM neck carve give it a distinctly vintage feel, while the overall build quality and tuning stability make it a much more refined modern instrument.

A beautifully balanced USA PRS that works equally well for clean rhythm, blues, pop and expressive lead playing, with plenty of John Mayer association without feeling overly niche as a signature model.
