This is an absolutely beautiful Angel Hollow and one of the more sophisticated Wakesurf finishes we have seen from Anderson. The Teal Wakesurf treatment moves through turquoise, deep teal and almost natural-looking areas across the highly figured flame maple top, allowing the grain to remain incredibly prominent. The exposed natural binding and raw nickel pickup covers work especially well against the finish, while the dark rosewood board keeps the overall look refined rather than overly bright.

The hollow alder construction gives this Angel a slightly more open and resonant character than a conventional solid-body build, while the Chocolate Maple neck and Even-Taper carve should give it that exceptionally smooth Anderson playing feel. The 12"–14" compound radius, jumbo stainless-steel frets and .810"–.870" neck depth make it a very modern and effortless instrument without feeling excessively thin.

The HC1+ and HC2+ humbucker pairing gives the guitar a fuller, more muscular voice than an S-style configuration, but Anderson’s 5-way switching and split options greatly expand what is available beyond straightforward dual-humbucker sounds. A beautifully specified boutique instrument with a really distinctive finish, excellent ergonomic design and a very versatile electronics package.
