This is a really cool modern take on the Les Paul Custom idea and one that feels much more contemporary than a standard Epiphone singlecut. The Twilight Shift finish is obviously the main visual hook, and finishes like this work brilliantly on a Custom because they keep the dressier, higher-end feel of the model while making it look far more striking than the usual black or white route. The spec underneath is strong too. The ebony board, stainless steel frets, compound radius and locking Grovers immediately make it feel more player-focused than a traditional Les Paul Custom, while the mahogany body with maple cap keeps it rooted in the familiar Les Paul recipe. I also like the ProBucker Ignite set here, especially with the push/pull coil split and phase options, because it gives the guitar a much wider tonal range than people might expect at this price point. A very smart modern Epiphone and a cool option for someone who wants Les Paul Custom looks with much more modern usability.
