Personal Thoughts:
The Majesty BFR models represent the absolute pinnacle of Ernie Ball Music Man’s modern design — and the Wolf’s Bane finish is easily one of the most striking they’ve ever produced. The maple burl top paired with black limba wings gives this guitar a darker, more aggressive visual identity compared to previous Majesty runs, while still retaining that unmistakable BFR elegance.
Sonically, this is Petrucci perfection. The Rainmaker / Dreamcatcher set delivers massive clarity under gain, incredibly tight low end, and smooth, vocal lead tones — all without sacrificing note separation. The onboard piezo system transforms this into a true multi-instrument, allowing convincing acoustic textures that can be blended or run independently in stereo rigs.
