Personal Thoughts:
The JP15 is one of the absolute benchmarks for modern high-performance guitars — and this Trans Black Burst Quilt is one of the cleanest and sharpest-looking finishes Music Man produces. The quilt top has serious depth and movement, especially under lighting, and paired with the roasted maple neck and board, it has that unmistakable JP15 boutique aesthetic.
Playability is as good as it gets: stainless frets, the ultra-stable roasted neck, and the slick 16" radius make fast runs, bends, and big chords feel completely effortless. The Illuminator pickups are powerful but incredibly articulate — tight lows, smooth highs, and a focused midrange that stays clear even under heavy gain. Add in the 20dB onboard boost and the piezo system, and this guitar does everything from ambient cleans to prog-metal leads without breaking a sweat.
Being an as-new recent purchase from Peach Guitars, it’s essentially fresh from the factory — no wear, no marks, and zero signs of use. A superb example of one of Music Man’s most refined JP models.
