The Majesty platform is already one of the most advanced and refined modern performance guitars ever built — and the Ball Family Reserve versions take it up another level entirely. This Blue Sparkle BFR is a stunning example, produced in an extremely limited run of just 120 guitars worldwide.
Tonally, the Sonic Ecstasy pickups are superb — clear, articulate, and powerful without ever feeling compressed. They excel at high-gain lead work but still retain definition and musicality for cleans and edge-of-breakup tones. The addition of the piezo system massively expands the palette, allowing convincing acoustic-style sounds that can be blended or run separately for live or studio work.
Ergonomically, the Majesty remains unbeatable. Ultra-comfortable body contours, effortless upper-fret access, and a neck that feels fast, stable, and precise in every position. The floating piezo tremolo is smooth and stable, and the overall build quality is exactly what you’d expect from Music Man at this level — flawless.
This is very much a collector-grade modern instrument that is also a serious professional tool.
