This is a particularly striking Sabre HT, with the Snowy Night finish giving the guitar an almost metallic, frosted appearance under the light. The finish works beautifully against the black hardware and pickups, while the highly figured roasted maple neck and board add a completely different warmth and texture to the overall look.

The HT bridge humbucker is the major feature here. Music Man’s heat-treated pickup design is intended to deliver a powerful, high-output response while retaining clarity and definition, particularly under gain. The low end remains tight and controlled, while the top end stays crisp enough to keep complex chords and faster lead work articulate. The custom-wound neck humbucker balances that with a smoother, more rounded voice for cleans and fluid lead tones.

The Sabre platform itself sits in a great middle ground between traditional S-style ergonomics and a much more modern performance guitar. The roasted figured maple neck feels premium and fast, while the contoured body and tremolo system make it an exceptionally comfortable instrument for longer playing sessions.

At around 7 lb 10 oz, it is also a very sensible weight for a substantial dual-humbucker guitar. A superb USA-built Music Man with a genuinely distinctive finish, exceptional neck figuring and a powerful but versatile electronics package.

Mint condition. Presents exceptionally well overall with no noteworthy marks, fret wear or signs of use to mention. Supplied with its original Music Man hardshell case, paperwork and associated case candy.
