This is a seriously impressive Japanese Custom Shop Eclipse and exactly the sort of build that shows why ESP’s Original Series sits at the very top of the range. The Blue Indigo Graduation finish over the flame maple top is the obvious visual highlight, but the colour-matched flame maple headstock overlay, double binding and gold hardware give the whole guitar a properly luxurious feel without losing the aggressive identity of the Eclipse.

The underlying spec is every bit as strong. Honduran mahogany for both the body and neck, an ebony fingerboard, extra-jumbo frets and the Thin U profile give it that fast, substantial feel ESP do so well. The EMG Het Set is also a perfect match for the guitar, delivering a powerful, tight and articulate voice with plenty of clarity under heavy gain. Add in the locking TonePros and Gotoh hardware, Luminlay side markers and immaculate Japanese construction, and this becomes a very serious modern singlecut with proper Custom Shop presence. A stunning example and one of the most complete Eclipse specifications available.
