This is a great-looking Japanese-built E-II Eclipse, with the Red Sparkle finish giving the familiar single-cut shape a much more dramatic and modern appearance. The ebony fingerboard adds to that feel, keeping the overall look dark and purposeful while also giving the guitar a fast, precise response under the fingers.

The Eclipse platform has always sat nicely between a traditional single-cut and a more performance-focused rock guitar. The 24.75" scale keeps the playing feel familiar and slightly softer under the fingers, while the slimmer body shape and extra-jumbo frets make it feel noticeably more modern than a conventional Les Paul-style instrument.

As with most Japanese E-II models, the build quality is a major part of the appeal. The neck joint, fretwork and hardware all feel very precise, making this a strong option for players who want a substantial single-cut tone without sacrificing speed or comfort.

Very good condition. There are normal light signs of use consistent with age, along with a finish imperfection at the neck/body join. This appears to originate from the factory, where excess clear coat has run into this area, and there is also some associated finish cracking.

The area has been inspected and tested and presents no structural concern. The issue is cosmetic only and does not affect the stability, playability or integrity of the neck joint.

Otherwise, the guitar presents very well overall with no significant damage to mention.
