This is a seriously striking Snapper and a brilliant example of ESP’s ability to take a familiar S-style platform and turn it into something far more special. The Glitter Storm Blue Sparkle finish has huge visual impact, while the gold hardware gives it a much more luxurious feel than the usual performance-focused build. Paired with the darker Honduran rosewood fingerboard, it manages to look bold and refined at the same time.
The specification is equally strong. The alder body, hard maple neck and compound-radius rosewood board provide a familiar but highly polished playing platform, while the Slim U profile and T-5 Ultimate Access heel make it exceptionally comfortable across the full neck. The stacked STK-S7 pickups retain plenty of single-coil clarity while reducing unwanted noise, and the TB-16 bridge humbucker adds a much bigger, more forceful voice for driven rhythm and lead work. The capacitor-select and mix-variation switches add even more tonal flexibility, while the ESP FLICKER-III tremolo and locking Gotoh tuners complete a very capable professional setup. A rare, high-spec Japanese Snapper with serious stage presence.
