Personal Thoughts:
This model marked Fender’s half-century milestone in style. With a blend of vintage looks and modern appointments, it’s a great choice for someone who wants a high-performance Strat that still honours tradition. The SCN pickups are noiseless but still punchy and expressive, while the S-1 switching opens up some extra wiring tricks. That gold anodized guard is a standout visually. A proper player’s guitar with just enough collector value to make it interesting long-term.
Condition Report:
Very good overall. The guitar has been looked after, plays perfectly, and the frets are still in excellent condition. A few small lacquer chips – typical for these models as the finish is known to be delicate – but nothing that affects performance or feel. All hardware clean, electrics sound.
