The Acoustasonic Tele is one of Fender’s more interesting modern designs, because it is not trying to be a straight acoustic or a straight electric. It sits in its own lane and works best when viewed that way. The Blue Paisley finish gives this one loads of personality and makes it feel far more distinctive than the standard sunburst or black examples. I also think the ebony board and overall feel of these guitars is a big part of the appeal, because they are very easy to pick up and play for electric players who want access to more acoustic-style sounds without switching instruments completely. The Acoustasonic system is the real selling point of course, giving you a wide spread of usable voices from more natural acoustic textures through to magnetic pickup sounds. A very clever and very stylish USA Fender.
