The American Vintage II '61 Strat is one of Fender’s better modern vintage-style models in my opinion, because it keeps the right old-school feel without coming across like a lifeless museum piece. The slab rosewood board, 7.25" radius and 1961 "C" neck are the big part of that, giving it a really authentic early-’60s Strat feel, while the Pure Vintage '61 pickup set should deliver exactly the sort of clear, chiming, slightly sweeter Strat tone people want from this era. Fiesta Red is always a winner on a Strat too, and paired with the rosewood board it gives the guitar that classic early-’60s look straight away. This is also a nice one for a buyer who wants something as close to new as possible, as having the original cellophane still present really helps underline how little use it has seen. Fender’s official spec for the model confirms the alder body, gloss nitro finish, 1961 "C" neck, slab rosewood fingerboard, 7.25" radius, Pure Vintage '61 pickups, and vintage-style tremolo and tuners.

As new / mint condition. A beautifully preserved example with the original cellophane still present, suggesting very minimal use if any at all. Presents exceptionally well overall.
