This is a seriously desirable Masterbuilt Strat and exactly the sort of spec that makes sense on a Dale Wilson build. The Yellowed Honey Blonde finish with the Ultra Relic treatment gives it a huge amount of vintage character straight away, and ash is a great choice here as it tends to add a bit more snap and liveliness than alder. I also really like the neck spec. The rift sawn maple neck, AAA round-lam rosewood board, 9.5" radius and medium vintage fretwire should make it feel properly broken-in and vintage-inspired without being awkward to play. The Josefina hand-wound Poblano set is a big part of the appeal too, as those pickups tend to have a bit more push and attitude than a standard low-output Strat set while still keeping plenty of clarity and width. The fact this one has tone on the bridge is another nice touch, as it makes the guitar that bit more usable in the real world. A very cool Masterbuilt Strat with loads of vibe and a really strong player-focused spec.

Mint condition. Factory Ultra Relic finish as part of the original Masterbuilt spec. No additional wear of note beyond the intentional ageing.
