This is a very cool Tele and exactly the sort of thing people go after from the Fender Custom Shop when they want something a bit more special than the standard line. Dale Wilson is one of the most respected names in the Custom Shop world, and his ageing work always seems to strike a nice balance between being dramatic enough to look exciting, but still tasteful and believable in the flesh. The Aged Seafoam Green finish is a great choice here too. It has that classic early-Fender custom colour feel, but with the Heavy Relic treatment it ends up looking much more individual and lived-in than a cleaner example.

I also think a rosewood-board Tele like this sits in a really nice place tonally and visually. You still get all the snap and cut you want from a good Telecaster, but there is usually a slightly rounder, sweeter response than on a maple-board equivalent. For someone wanting a high-end Custom Shop Tele that feels broken-in from day one and comes with the appeal of a genuine Dale Wilson build, this is a very strong piece.

Mint condition. This guitar is effectively as new, with no additional wear to note beyond the original factory Heavy Relic finish and ageing. Presents exactly as it should and comes complete with its original Fender Custom Shop case, COA, shop floor traveler and associated case candy.
