This is a seriously cool Masterbuilt Strat and one that feels a bit more unusual than the average vintage-style Custom Shop build. The Graffiti Yellow finish with the heavy faded look gives it loads of personality straight away, but the spec is what makes it especially interesting. It keeps the proper early-’60s feel with the alder body, round-lam rosewood board, 7.25" radius and small headstock, but then adds that HSS layout with a Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbucker in the bridge. That is a great combination in my opinion, because it gives you all the sweeter, more traditional Strat sounds in the neck and middle positions, while the bridge has a lot more weight and drive available when you want it. I also think the hand-wound Texas Specials make sense here, adding a bit more push without taking the guitar too far away from classic Fender territory. The relic treatment and faded finish should make this one especially striking in person, and being a Levi Perry Masterbuilt only adds to the appeal.

Mint condition. Factory relic finish as part of the original Custom Shop Masterbuilt spec. No additional wear of note beyond the intentional ageing.
