Personal Thoughts:
The ’57 Soft V + Poblano combo is one of Fender Custom Shop’s most exciting pairings. The Poblano set hits the perfect sweet spot: vintage character with a hotter, more expressive midrange, giving this Strat both classic sparkle and a throaty, almost blues-rock authority when pushed.
The maple neck is beautifully shaped — soft V but not aggressive — and the 9.5" radius with 6105 frets makes it feel like a modern player’s dream while still staying true to the ’50s aesthetic. The Surf Green relic finish is outstanding: lightly worn, tastefully aged, and full of that retro-cool vibe only the Custom Shop can pull off.
A ’57 Strat with Poblano bite is a seriously versatile instrument — country, blues, indie, funk, you name it. It’s one of the most sought-after CS configurations for a reason.
Condition Report:
Excellent. Light relicing from the factory and only minimal signs of handling. Frets are clean, hardware lightly aged as intended. Tweed case, COA and all original accessories included.
