This is a really cool Custom Shop Strat and a slightly unusual one in all the right ways. The Grafitti Yellow finish gives it loads of personality straight away, and the painted headstock just pushes it a bit further away from the standard vintage reissue route. I also like the way this one has been built to a ’59 Strat concept but with a few more modern-feeling touches in the spec. The flat-lam rosewood board, medium jumbo frets and mixed pickup set should make it a very easy guitar to get on with, while still keeping plenty of proper Strat character. The ’69 neck, Fat 50’s middle and Texas Special bridge is a clever combination too, giving it a bit more range than a standard matched set. A very eye-catching Custom Shop Strat and a nice example of Fender doing something a little different without losing the core appeal.

Mint condition. NOS finish is factory correct as part of the original Custom Shop spec. Presents exceptionally well overall, with no noteworthy wear to mention.
