Personal Thoughts:
This is a beautifully specced take on the late-’50s Telecaster Custom — vintage-correct where it counts, with just enough refinement to make it a superb modern player. The alder body with off-centre seam is a nice period detail, and the Chocolate Sunburst finish looks rich and understated in true Custom Shop fashion.
The rift-sawn maple neck paired with a flat-lam rosewood board gives this guitar a solid, stable feel with a slightly smoother attack than an all-maple Tele. The ’59 Large C neck profile has real substance without being cumbersome — a great shape for players who like something to hold onto.
Tonally, the hand-wound ’58 Tele pickups are the star of the show: clear, punchy, and beautifully balanced. Clean tones are articulate and bell-like, while driven sounds have bite, grit, and that unmistakable Tele authority without getting harsh or thin. The compound radius makes it feel vintage under the fingers while remaining comfortable for bends higher up the neck.

Condition Report:
Excellent NOS condition. Very light signs of handling only, with a very small amount of bucklerash near the binding. Frets are clean, neck is straight, and the guitar plays beautifully. Case and Certificate of Authenticity included.
