This is a seriously cool Custom Shop Strat and a really interesting limited spec. The faded Sherwood Green Metallic over a three-tone sunburst base gives it a lot more depth and character than a straight custom colour finish, and with the super heavy relic treatment it ends up looking properly dramatic. It has that worn custom-colour vintage vibe, but with a bit more complexity and individuality than the usual single-layer finish. The spec underneath is just as strong. The roasted rift sawn maple neck, AAA round-lam rosewood board, 9.5" radius and narrow tall frets make it a very usable player’s Strat, while the hand-wound 60/63 set should keep it right in that sweet, open, glassy early-’60s Fender lane. A very attractive and very well judged limited Custom Shop build.

Mint condition. Factory Super Heavy Relic finish as part of the original Custom Shop limited spec. No additional wear of note beyond the intentional ageing.
