A Vintage Blonde Strat with a rosewood board isn’t something you see every day — and that’s exactly why this works.
The ash body under Vintage Blonde gives it that slightly more open, snappy response compared to alder. It has a bit more bite and clarity on the attack, while the rosewood board rounds things off beautifully.
The Journeyman relic is subtle and tasteful. Light checking, gentle wear — it feels like a well-cared-for early ’60s Strat rather than something overdone. Exactly how most players prefer it.
The ’60 Oval C carve at .790"–.930" is a brilliant middle ground. Comfortable, balanced, very playable. Add in the 9.5" radius and 6150 frets and you’ve got a Strat that bends easily but still keeps vintage character.
Hand-wound ’60s pickups deliver proper glassy highs, hollow mid positions and that woody Strat neck tone that just sings clean or pushed.
A slightly different take on a classic ’60 spec — understated, classy and very usable.
