This is a really cool Custom Shop Strat and one that feels a bit more special than a standard relic build. The heavy relic treatment gives it a lot of attitude, but the spec underneath is what makes it especially appealing. The AAA round-lam rosewood board, 60 Style Oval “C” neck and 9.5" radius strike a very nice balance between vintage feel and modern playability, while the Bare Knuckle-loaded hand-wound Custom Shop pickup set should give it a bit more edge and personality than a more conventional Strat setup. I also like the fact that the bridge pickup is wired to tone, which makes it a bit more usable in the real world. The shell guard, three tone burst finish and worn-in look all suit the guitar really well, and it feels like the sort of Strat that would be just as appealing to a serious player as it would be to someone who simply loves a well-spec’d Custom Shop piece.

Excellent condition. Factory heavy relic as part of the original Custom Shop spec. Aside from the intentional ageing and playing marks built into the finish, it presents very well overall.
