Personal Thoughts:
This ’63 Reissue is a superb example of a lightly aged Custom Shop Strat — vintage correct where it matters, and beautifully dialled in for modern playability.
The Fiesta Red Journeyman Relic finish is tasteful and authentic, with the perfect balance of lacquer checking and subtle wear — just enough to feel “played-in” without stepping into heavy relic territory.
The quarter-sawn maple neck paired with the AAA rosewood slab board looks stunning and sounds even better — rich mids, sweet top end, and a warm, musical low end. The ’65 C profile is a hugely popular carve — medium thickness, rounded, comfortable, and one of the most universal neck shapes Fender make.
Tonally, the Fat ’50s pickups do everything a Strat should — bright, glassy, expressive single coil tones with that lovely vintage bloom. With narrow tall frets and a 9.5" radius, bends are super smooth and controlled.
