Personal Thoughts:
This is a gem from the golden John Page Custom Shop era — the exact period many Fender collectors consider the most soulful and most “real” in the entire CS timeline.
The champagne/trans blonde sparkle looks unreal in person — you can see the ash grain through the finish, and the nitro is thick, glassy, and beautifully aged with zero abuse.
The neck is a highlight — AAA Birdseye everywhere, and the modern slim C with 22 medium tall frets feels fast, familiar and super playable. The 9.5-ish radius feels a touch flatter in reality — very comfy.
The SSS configuration with Strat neck + Strat middle + Tele bridge is such a sleeper setup… it gives you all the glassy Strat sweetness and the Tele-rooted bite when you want edge and twang.
This is extremely rare to find in this condition — it looks like it’s been in suspended animation since the 90s.
Condition Report:
Mint. Time-capsule condition. Just one very tiny impression at the side near the base of the neck. Replacement Bridge Pickup and tone pot but original and restored to factory spec. Setup low and fast — feels effortless under the fingers. Original case, COA, paperwork — all present.
