Personal Thoughts:
This is one of those “special” Custom Shop Teles that instantly stands apart. A ’50s Thinline paired with a solid rosewood neck is already a rare and desirable combination, but the real surprise here is the weight — at just 2.95 kg, it’s remarkably light and incredibly resonant.
Tonally, it’s outstanding. The attack is fast and immediate, with a bell-like clarity that feels almost acoustic in response. Clean tones are classic Tele at its very best — open, articulate, and harmonically rich in all three positions. Push it with overdrive or distortion and it absolutely comes alive: tight low end, cutting mids, plenty of bite, and never thin or brittle. It genuinely rocks harder than most Thinline Teles you’ll encounter.
The relic work is tastefully done, the Wide Fade Chocolate Burst looks phenomenal in person, and the all-rosewood neck adds both visual drama and a smooth, authoritative feel under the fingers. This is very much a player’s Tele, but also one that will appeal strongly to collectors who want something genuinely different.
