Personal Thoughts:
This is one of those guitars where everything just clicks. Originally developed with Peach Guitars and loaded with features rarely (or never) seen on Team Built guitars, this model walks a fine line between vintage charm and modern playability.
The roasted neck is a tonal win — lively, resonant, and resistant to shifts in temperature. The Bone Tone pickups were only allowed on this limited run and aren’t found on Team Builds anymore, so there’s true exclusivity here. The pickups lean toward early '60s Strat tones: sweet, vocal neck tones, quacky mids, and a punchy bridge — think Mayer and early SRV.
Neck shape and finish are standouts. The lightly sealed roasted maple has the feel of a played-in '60s Strat, and the compound radius + 22 frets combo means it bends and plays like a modern boutique piece while still dripping with Custom Shop character.
Condition Report:
Excellent throughout with no damage or wear beyond the intended Journeyman relic work. Fretwork is clean, neck is straight, and it’s ready to go with the original case, paperwork, strap, and accessories.
