This is a very cool Custom Shop Strat, and exactly the sort of build that stands out in a sea of more predictable relic finishes. Underneath the dramatic look, it is still a very sensible and very usable Fender Custom Shop spec, with all the right ingredients for someone who wants vintage flavour but without the compromises that can sometimes come with a stricter old-school build.

The finish is obviously the big talking point here. The Aged Dirty Shell Pink over Chocolate 3 Tone Sunburst gives it a properly unique look, and the super heavy relic treatment makes it feel more like a genuine old survivor than something that has just had a bit of light ageing added. It is bold, but it works. Spec wise, there is a lot to like as well. The rift sawn maple neck, flat lam rosewood board, 9.5" radius and narrow tall frets should make this a very easy guitar to get along with, whilst the hand wound Fat 60s pickups should keep things lively, expressive and full of character. A very distinctive USA Custom Shop Strat with loads of personality.

Factory super heavy relic finish. Presents very well overall, with the wear exactly as intended by Fender Custom Shop. Beyond the original relic work, there is no noteworthy additional wear to mention.
