Personal Thoughts:
This is one of those Fender Custom Shop pieces where the relic work genuinely looks era-correct rather than theatrical. The Graffiti Yellow is outrageous in the best possible way – it has that “NAMM wall piece” vibe, and the lacquer crackling on this particular example looks extremely convincing and vintage-authentic. The bound AAA dark rosewood board is a huge visual flex – and combined with the ’78 EVH bridge humbucker, this is a real player’s HSS that can both shimmer like a ‘60s Strat and absolutely roar when pushed.
A killer spec concept piece – and there simply aren’t many of these around.
