Here’s a killer example of what the Fender Custom Shop does best—this 2023 Heavy Relic '63 Strat absolutely nails the vintage vibe while offering top-tier modern playability. The Three Tone Sunburst over the lightly contoured alder body is classic, but that relic job is full-on mojo with beautifully aged lacquer, weather-checked finish, and tasteful wear in all the right places.
The neck is a standout—it’s got that lovely dirty tint and a heavily relic’d back that feels instantly broken in. The 60s Oval “C” shape with 9.5" radius and 6105 frets is just perfect—comfortable for chord work, slick for leads. Tonally, the hand-wound 60s Strat pickups give you that glassy sparkle and punchy midrange with the RWRP middle for hum-canceling.
It feels, looks, and sounds like a road-worn vintage guitar that plays better than any real '63 ever did.

In excellent condition—factory relic'd as intended, with all wear part of the original Custom Shop aging process. No additional dings or damage. Frets and hardware are in perfect condition, and the guitar functions flawlessly.
