Personal Thoughts:
This is not your standard Tele.
The W-25 Dual Stack HS spec leans heavily into custom territory — sparkle burst finish, painted headstock, TV Jones in the neck and Twisted Tele in the bridge. It’s part vintage, part hot-rodded Custom Shop experiment.
The Beautiful Quilted okoume body keeps the weight down and gives it a slightly different tonal character compared to alder or ash — a bit more mid-forward and lively. Paired with the sparkle Three Tone Sunburst, it looks properly special.
The TV Jones neck pickup brings that Gretsch-like clarity and chime, while the Twisted Tele bridge retains classic Fender bite. It’s a versatile pairing — you can go from jangly cleans to punchy Tele twang without it feeling confused.
The ’65 C carve is slightly fuller at .820"–.974", giving it real substance without being chunky. The 9.5" radius and 6105 frets make it a proper player’s spec.
The painted headstock matching the sparkle burst is what really sets this apart visually. It feels like something that would have come out of the Custom Shop in the early 2000s when they were having fun and pushing boundaries.
A very cool, slightly left-field Custom Shop Tele that stands out from the crowd.
Condition Report:
Mint condition. Factory relic from Fender Custom Shop. No additional wear beyond intended ageing. Frets are excellent, neck is straight and electronics function perfectly.
