Personal Thoughts:
This Dale Wilson Masterbuilt is a masterclass in relic craftsmanship—Fiesta Red with just the right amount of wear, ash body for great resonance, and a gorgeous soft V neck that’s as playable as it is period-accurate. The handwound ’56 pickups deliver glassy, bell-like clarity with plenty of warmth. These early Wilson builds are becoming serious collector pieces, and this one’s got all the mojo in spades.
Condition Report:
Excellent condition. Some very minor fret wear from light use, but nothing that affects playability or tone. Setup is spot-on, hardware and finish are as per relic spec. Very clean overall for a 2017 Masterbuilt.
