Personal Thoughts:
Todd Krause is the quiet powerhouse behind many of Fender’s most collectible Custom Shop instruments—he’s built guitars for legends like Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, and David Gilmour. This '57 Reissue carries that DNA. The Aged Shoreline Gold over a 2-Tone Sunburst base gives it a killer double-layer relic vibe—very boutique. The AAA flame maple neck not only looks superb but plays fast and smooth. The 10/56 "V" profile gives you that full, vintage-correct grip, and the handwound Fat '50s pickups sound glassy, woody, and bold—like a great old Strat should.
Condition Report:
Excellent condition with no issues beyond the intentional relic’ing. Very little fret wear. The guitar hasn’t seen much use and has clearly been kept in a controlled environment. All electronics, tuners, and tremolo work as intended.
